My Cabin: Sun!

Just spent the weekend at the cabin, and finally - some sunny days! This post is just to show you how much I love life at the cabin, when we can spend almost the entire day outdoors. I usually take my pics when we are about to leave for home and it´s all tidy and neat, but in real life it´s always people and toys and stuff everywhere. Here you at least get a small glims of that in some of the photos.

This is another great Danish summer house, created by architects Pernille Poulsen and Michael Christensen. It is not much bigger than our cabin, 64 sqm. More about the house here. It´s even on the cover of my beloved book Arkitektenes Sommerhuse

A few more pics from our bedroom, clean and ready for the photographer. I´m so glad I´m not doing the final styling before the shoot, it´s so hard to decide where to put stuff. (And to keep it tidy, with a busy 3 year old running around).

My Cabin: Finally done with the bench

Just spent a rainy weekend at the cabin, after a few rainy days in Bergen. I love living in Norway, but please: Give us some sun soooon. But hey, we finally finished and painted our new bench by the table! We actually made it last year, but gave up after descovering we made it 10 cm to short, and had to do it all over again. My mum is helping me making pillows-to-sit-on (what do you call it in english) cushions (thanks, Greta!) as we speak.
